Mac & Cheese

Everyone's favorite side and a staple to any good cheat meal. This easy recipe doesn't require a roux or difficult base, and will take your plain macaroni to the next level. Now the real cheese heads will probably be upset at this one, but don't knock it till you try it!


  • 1 lb shredded velveta original

  • 1 lb shredded mozzarella

  • 2 cups shredded mild cheddar

  • 1 lb macaroni

  • 2.5 cups milk

  • 1/2 cup panko bread crumbs

  • 1/2 tbsp garlic powder

  • 1/2 tbsp onion powder

  • 1 tsp paprika


  1. Boil macaroni until it is almost fully cooked, leave it a little bit undercooked so it doesn't overcook while baking.

  2. In a large pot, heat the milk over medium heat until small bubbles start to form, do not let the milk boil.

  3. Whisk in the velveta and mozzarella cheese until completely melted. then stir in the garlic, onion, and paprika.

  4. Remove from heat, add the cooked macaroni into the sauce and mix together till wet combined. Add mixture to a bread pan or cake pan.

  5. Top with the panko and cheddar cheese. Bake uncovered on 350 Fahrenheit for 20-30 min or until top is browned.
